Terms

You must be at least 13 to use Setout Kitchen, or older if the law where you live requires a parent's consent below a higher age. You must be 18 or older to buy credits.

If you use Setout Kitchen for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Setout Kitchen is software for planning a kitchen. You enter a room's measurements, arrange cabinets and appliances, choose finishes, review layout checks, export dimensioned drawings, and generate realistic images of the plan with AI.

It is not an architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing or engineering service, and it does not replace a qualified professional, a site survey or the building rules where you live.

Layout checks flag common planning problems, such as a hob beside the fridge or an aisle that is too narrow. They are guidance based on typical clearances, not confirmation that a design is safe or meets local codes, and a design with no warnings can still have problems.

Drawings show the measurements and choices you entered. Check every dimension on site before anything is ordered, cut, drilled or installed.

Realistic renders are generated by an AI model from your 3D view or photo. They show how a kitchen could look, not an exact picture: the model can change details, proportions or colours. Screens show colour differently and natural materials vary, so see real samples before you buy.

We work to keep Setout Kitchen running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors, and features can change.

You keep all rights in what you create and upload. You allow us to store and process it only as needed to run Setout Kitchen, including sending views and photos to our image provider when you ask for a render.

Only upload photos you have the right to use.

Projects saved to your account are stored with it and open on any device you sign in on. A project that is only in your browser, one you have not saved to your account, is gone if you clear your browser data or lose the device, unless you downloaded a backup, and we cannot restore it.

We claim no rights in the renders you generate, and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercially. AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in every country and can resemble existing designs, so check before relying on one where that matters.

Generated images are stored by our image provider and may not stay available forever. Download any render you want to keep.

Planning is free for 1 month from the day you sign up. Realistic renders use credits, one per generated image, and every new account starts with one free credit.

Credit packs are one-time purchases: there is no subscription and nothing renews. Credits don't expire, have no cash value, can't be moved to another account and can only be used on Setout Kitchen.

Buying a pack lets you edit your projects for 12 months from that purchase. A later purchase starts the 12 months again from its own date rather than adding to them, and signing in does not extend them.

When free editing (1 month from sign-up) or a pack's 12 months end, nothing is deleted: you can still view and download your projects, and use any credits you have left for renders. Changing a project or creating a new one needs a new pack.

How many projects you can keep depends on the biggest pack you bought in the last 12 months: 1 on the free plan, 10 with Starter, 20 with Kitchen and 100 with Studio. A duplicate counts as a project. If you have more than that number, you can keep editing the projects you have but cannot create new ones until you are under it.

Packs are sold by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Dodo takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT due where you live, issues your receipt and handles payment disputes, and its own terms apply to the payment. Prices are in US dollars.

We may change prices and packs for future purchases. Credits you already hold are not affected.

If a render fails, its credit returns to your account automatically.

Within 7 days of buying a pack, you can ask for a refund of the credits you haven't used, and we refund that share of the price you paid. For example, if you bought 40 credits for $39 and used 10, you get back about $29.25. Email hello@setoutkitchen.com with the address you paid with. You don't need to give a reason.

Refunds go back to your original payment method through Dodo Payments, and the refunded credits are removed from your account. After 7 days, purchases are not refundable unless something went wrong on our side.

None of this limits a refund right you have under the law where you live.

Don't upload images you have no right to use, or that are unlawful, sexual, violent or hateful, and don't try to make the image model produce such content.

Don't access another person's account or data, overload or probe Setout Kitchen's systems, get around its limits on renders and credits, or resell access to Setout Kitchen.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and where we can, we will tell you why first. If we close your account without good reason, we refund your unused credits.

You can stop using Setout Kitchen at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@setoutkitchen.com. Unused credits are refunded only under the refund rules above.

Setout Kitchen is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for construction, installation, rework or material costs arising from a design, drawing, check or render, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or removes rights you have as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Setout Kitchen is run. If something goes wrong, email hello@setoutkitchen.com first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.

If you use Setout Kitchen as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and for changes that matter we will say so on the site before they apply. If you keep using Setout Kitchen after that, the updated terms apply; if you don't agree, stop using Setout Kitchen and ask us to delete your account.
